Ensemble Panoramic project + ROSE(s)

Pour son nouvel album et nouveau programme live le « Panoramic project », ensemble de jazz moderne dirigé par le trompettiste et compositeur Léo Jeannet, nous propose une surprenante exploration de la nouvelle vague des pianistes de jazz français qui montent ces dernières années.
Ce projet intitulé « Piano extended » réuni 7 pianistes invités dans le onztet du « Panoramic project » en tant que solistes mais également comme compositeurs et compositrices: Clelya Abraham, Estreilla Besson, Enzo Carniel, Delphine Deau, Etienne Manchon, Sandrine Marchetti, Alexis Nercessian.
S’emparant de compositions choisies avec soin dans le répertoire des invités, Guillaume Guedin surtout, et Léo Jeannet signent les arrangements du disque en jouant de l’orchestre comme d’un prolongement du piano et des univers singuliers des différentes invités. C’est un piano volubile, expressif, chantant, comme “étendu” des cuivres et des bois de l’ensemble Panoramic project qui s’échappe des dix doigts de chaque invité. Un programme qui étonne par sa rondeur de son, sa finesse d’exécution  et d’arrangement, et  par la beauté des compositions des invités qui se lancent dans de grandioses improvisations au piano. Un opus qui séduira inévitablement les amateurs de touches noires et blanches et de big band jazz.

In its new album and new live program, « Panoramic Project », the modern jazz ensemble led by the trumpet player and composer Léo Jeannet offers us an astonishing exploration of the new wave of French jazz piano players rising out now.
This project, entitled « Piano extended »,  brings together seven piano players invited in the « Panoramic project » eleventet, as soloists as well as composers.
Taking these compositions carefully chosen in the guests’ repertoire, Guillaume Guedin especially, and Léo Jeannet sign the record arrangements, playing with the orchestra as an extension of the piano and the unique worlds of the different guests. A voluble expressive singing piano, extended to the brass and woodwind instruments of the Panoramic Project ensemble, escapes from the ten fingers of each guest. A program which surprises by the roundness of its sound, its subtle execution and arrangements, and by the beauty of the compositions, the guests launching into grandiose improvisations on the piano. An opus that will inevitably seduce lovers of black and white keys and jazz big band.
